Yes, YouTube is particularly horrendous in that regard and yes, there are hate groups on Facebook too. However, I think that by virtue of the fact that Facebook is basically a social network which connects friends and colleagues, although yes, sometimes strangers depending on how you use it, makes it different. 

In a sense, it's like a discussion in a front room or around a table where people behave politely. Not always, but mainly. As for stopping reproducing hatred, well, that's a reality we have to accept. However, what I think is possible is countering that hatred with moderate and alternative voices which multiply in number.

That's my hope, anyway...</description>
