Oneworld Multimedia is the working name for showcasing the work of Onnik Krikorian, a journalist and photographer from the United Kingdom now living and working in the Republic of Armenia. OneWorld Multimedia specializes in covering issues and stories from a human perspective, in particular dealing with themes such as transition, poverty, culture and conflict.
Photographs and Photo essays have been published by The Los Angeles Times, New Internationalist, UNICEF, Médecins Sans Frontières, Amnesty International, ASTP-PADCO, Everychild, Ani & Narod Memorial Foundation, Family Support America, Hetq Online, The Armenian Weekly, Aravot, Transitions Online, Geographical, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Red Pepper, Middle East Insight, Armenian Forum, Kurdistan Report, Oneworld and by New York University Press.
Articles have been published by Geographical, EurasiaNet, New Internationalist, UNICEF, Hetq Online, The Armenian Weekly, World Press Review, Transitions Online, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Red Pepper, Middle East Insight, Dawn, Kurdistan Report, Oneworld and by the Gemini News Service and Great Reporter.
In January 2008, Geographical published a feature article accompanied by photographs on Yezidis in Armenia. Oneworld Multimedia also covered the 19 February presidential election in Armenia and the August 2008 war between Russia and Georgia over South Ossetia on its new blog, The Caucasian Knot, at http://blog.oneworld.am.
Onnik Krikorian is also the Caucasus Regional Editor for Global Voices Online, the Armenia Country Editor for Oneworld.Net and will soon be posting from Armenia for The Frontline Club.
