Armenia: A1 Plus Violates My Copyright (Again)

a1 snapA1 Plus has once violated my copyright and used a photograph of mine without permission and credit. Ironically, the photo wasn’t even taken in the same location as the story, but anyway, the original is here.

As usual, the “excuse” will be when they looked for images on the Internet they found this one, but didn’t know who took it. Well, sorry, I don’t buy that as because of copyright concerns the original source is highlighted in such searches.

Secondly, a media outlet shouldn’t be lifting other people’s images off the Internet and using them without permission and credit anyway. I consider this to be nothing short of theft, depriving me of an income for work undertaken, and indicative of an unprofessional media.

The past year has seen theft of my images reach unprecedented levels even though I have licensed them for use in some circumstances under Creative Commons.
