Armenia: Future is Open

kharberd_0001Recently an NGO called Future is Open contacted me requesting use of my photos for their new web site. I’ve since discovered that the images have been used for the banners on various sub-sections of their site here, here, here, and here. Unfortunately, they haven’t credited me, but I’ve requested they do so as the images were donated and not purchased. Regardless, here’s what they set out to do.

“Future is Open” educational NGO was founded on October 26th, 2005. Seeing the lack of educational level in several institutions of Armenia, a group of young people decided to create an educational NGO, which would help the children in need. The organization has set its goal to improve the educational level of the children from orphanages, special schools, homeless children, children with physical and mental disabilities and help them to become deserving and worthy citizens of our society through consistent work. “Future is Open” Educational NGO currently implements 4 projects :

“Help the Children” project is for the children from 1.5–15 years old. For more information visit www.helpthechildren.fio.am.

“Future Specialists” project is for the children from 16-21 years old. For more information visit www.fs.fio.am.
