Georgia: Word from Tbilisi
A friend in Tbilisi reports that he is seeing friends off to war. He also reports that he can hear Russian jets in the sky, but that the majority of Georgians are firmly behind their president in this latest conflict with Russia.

The jets could not be seen - it’s quite cloudy today, but explosions took place out of sudden in Vaziani (close to TBS airport) and I could hear the jet sounds. Friends of mine that are in Gori are saying that it might be missiles as no plane can be seen and no sounds heard, but things explode all around the reservists on the ground.
