All Kinds of Everything for Eurovision has made another post commenting on the likelihood of Armenia and Azerbaijan going through to the final:

The best reactions were for Bosnia, Russia, Armenia, Greece and Israel. Ireland got very little reaction and thankfully no booing. Slovenia slightly better, Andorra still clearly the worst.

The time has come to get off the fence, stick my neck out, throw caution to the wind (and to mix my metaphors) and to chose my 10 qualifiers. I'm going to start with the certainties;

RUSSIA, ROMANIA, GREECE, ARMENIA, BOSNIA-HERZ. and I'm now adding AZERBAIJAN as they have ironed out their problems vocally and visually and it looks great and the reaction was quite strong.

Kari's Journal is also live blogging on Eurovision and has this to say about the two entries from the South Caucasus in the first semi-final:

Azerbaijan - OMG! This is what Eurovision is about. Angels and devils, soft pop-rock and gyrating dance girls. It is like a light musical version of Lordi. Brilliant and welcome to Eurovision, Azerbaijan!

[...]

Armenia - Paula Abdul lookalike. Nice and energetic song, and propertly song. Decent performance, but nothing earthshattering (although the fireworks were great).
