Oh, and one more thing - the numbers in my post about the armenian paid political airtime are measured in seconds.

There's another great news piece about TV market in Georgia: there was an failure of transmitter of the only oppositional TV channel in Georgia (Kavkasia). Possible source of outage is electrical shortcut. So this channel is not broadcasting right now, and nobody knows when it will be on air, because transmitter itself is very expensive piece of hardware (30-50 K$) and requires really difficult installation.

While armenian politicians were complaining about the prices for TV political ads, almost all of them have used paid airtime:
A. Geghamian 7183
A. Baghdasarian 7014
V. Hovhannesian 6910
L. Ter-Petrosian 6293
S. Sargsian 5681
T. Karapetian 4071
V. Manukian 1059
A. Harutiunian 118
A. Melikian 0
And while a lot of analysts and politicians (notably LTP, A. Bagdasaryan and A.Karapetyan) were guessing, that those prices will be affordable for candidates that are currently in power those numbers are proving the opposite.
