Yeah. . . Another KGBist (or GRU-ist to be exact) will likely to be brought to the fore as a foreign minister: Edward Nalbandian. Poor Armenia!

<blockquote>“WEEKS FOLLOWING MARCH1 WERE THE MOST DIFFICULT ONES IN MY CAREER”

“I don’t usually follow in a blind way. However, I cannot be extreme opposition, too,” Vardan Oskanyan said yesterday during his farewell meeting with Foreign Ministry employees. He has mentioned that, from the start of the campaign, he has been against the tactics, methods and aims chosen by the opposition since revolution cannot serve as an alternative to reforms.

Oskanyan has covered the post-electoral period events, confessing that the weeks following March 1 have been the most difficult ones in his career, since he, being part of the administration, considers himself responsible for everything happening in the country.

After resigning from the foreign minister’s position, Vardan Oskanyan will not stop public activities, “I intend to work inside the country in order to help the next minister succeed internationally.”

According to non-official data, Edward Nalbandyan, the ambassador of Armenia to France, will be the next RA foreign minister.
