106 persons are detained

As to 19 March 2008, within the criminal case investigating by the Special Investigation Service of the RA, on the fact of instigation and organization of mass disorder in Yerevan for the seizure of power accompanied with violation of constitutional order, are detained 106 persons, who are accused by different articles of the Criminal Code of the RA- organization and holding of mass actions accompanied with violation of stipulated order, calls for disobedience to legitimate demands of representatives of authorities, violent use to representatives of power, implementation of actions for seizure of power accompanied with the violation of constitutional order and violence,  illegal procurement and carrying of weapons and ammunition, concealment of crime.

Hereinafter we present names and surnames of persons, which are detained:

Parts of criminal case, concerning Mamyan Yurik, Baghdasaryan Husik, Ghrejyan Avetik, Siradeghyan Seryozha, Harutyunyan Hovhannes, which are accused of illegal procurement, carrying of weapons and ammunition, were detached into separate actions and sent to the National Security Service attached to the Government of the RA, where the preliminary investigation of these parts was completed, and on 18.03.08 criminal cases were sent to Tavush, Gegharquniq, Ararat, Vayots Dzor regions’, Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun district’s courts of common jurisdiction for trial.

Other 3 accused persons- Aslanyan Gurgen, Armen Movsisyan and Hamlet Hovhannisyan as a restraint gave a written undertaking not to leave.

As to 19.03.08, are searched 4 persons- Nikol Pashinyan, Khachatur Sukiasyan, Armen Vardanyan, Lendrush Tonoyan, are carried out investigation and search operations to find them.&lt;/blockquote&gt;
