H1 Cameraman Attacked, Ter-Petrossian Speaks

Mediamax reports that a cameraman working for Public TV H1 was allegedly attacked by Ter-Petrossian supporters outside the French Embassy. Meanwhile, the former president says that police did not issue any warning before dispersing his supporters in Liberty Square.

He informed that the Police forces appeared at the Square at about 06:45 in the morning and drew up columns in front of the participants of the protest action. According to the Ex-President, at that moment he turned to his supporters with an urge not to take to any actions and wait for the address of the Police representatives. However, Levon Ter-Petrosian stated, right after that the Police forces attacked the protestors, beating them with the use of bludgeons and electroshockers. Other special means were not used by the Police, the Ex-President stated.

Levon Ter-Petrosian stated that fight started between the protestors and the policemen.
