A1 Plus Reportedly Misinforms
Mediamax alleges that A1 Plus earlier attempted to spread misinformation in support of former president, Levon Ter-Petrossian. The online news agency says the pro-radical opposition A1 Plus reported earlier that international observers stated that yesterday’s vote did not meet international standards.
Yerevan /Mediamax/. A1+ website spread today misinformation, according to which the international Observation Mission assessed the elections in Armenia as “not corresponding to the OSCE and Council of Europe standards, as well as the national legislation”.

In reality, the joint International Observation Mission of ODIHR/OSCE, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly and the European Parliament stated in Yerevan today that the Presidential Election in Armenia was administered “mostly in line” with OSCE and Council of Europe standards.
