Over 14,000 Election Observers
Mediamax reports that over 600 foreign and 14,000 local observers will monitor the conduct of tomorrow’s presidential election in Armenia. The vote will be observed in 1,923 polling stations across the country.
Mediamax recalls that the presidential elections in Armenia on February 19 will be observed by over 600 foreign observers: 316 from OSCE ODIHR, 53 – from the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, 40 – Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, 6 – European Parliament, 166 – CIS, 39 – CIS Interparliamentary Assembly.
Observation over the elections will be realized by 39 NGOs, the total number of observers of which makes over 14 thousand people.
