However, one of the main things I liked Dashnaktsutyun so far (and I still do), is their generally reserved tone and real attempts to campaing, instead of engaging in black PR.

Yes, I agree. Anyway, it's fast becoming a battle.

Right, but ARF campaigns for its spot under the Sun, they do not expect to win the presidency. Their number of supporters is very well calculated and known from previous election and contracts they signed with supporters.

Speaking of the black propaganda DVD - I think Dashnaktsutyun or whoever else did it - were right after all. Levon's team haven't been campaigning properly - and perhaps, they don't deserve a proper reply, but only somthings like this DVD.

Regarding my own experience from talking to people from all walks of life I'd say that the race is still well and truly open. Basically, there appear to be more people who will vote for Sargsyan over Ter-Petrossian, but mainly, most people are still trying to decide. Interestingly, as many people who say they will vote for Ter-Petrossian can be found who say they will vote for Artur Baghdasarian and even Vazgen Manukian.

So, my ultimate conclusion is that such assessments are worthless given we know Manukian doesn't stand a chance in attracting more than just a few percentage points. It's why sociological organizations exist, I suppose, and why the only poll that matters is the one on election day.

However, while I'm not going to rule out a first-round Sargsyan victory, I don't personally believe it can be achieved without vote bribery although I have come across no such cases among those around me. However, one market trader told me a few days ago she has no problem in voting for the candidate who pays her the most.

As for who would make it into a second round if one was held, as I still believe many people are undecided, I think that's still up in the air. Basically, I think this weekend is when many people will make up their minds, and it might even be as late as Monday.

Thankfully, there's not long to wait now and I have to be honest, I can't wait for this election to be put behind us. The polarization and hatred its responsible for is something that has been quite depressing to witness and experience.
