Gagik Tsarukian Behind Serge Sargsyan
ArmInfo reports that MP and oligarch Gagik Tsarukian (aka Dodi Gago) has not taken up former president Levon Ter-Petrossian’s offer to join him and is instead supporting the prime minister. While his Prosperous Armenia political party had already made that clear, Tsarukian himself has been conspicuously absent during this election.
However, today in Abovian, Tsarukian urged residents to vote for the prime minister and is reported to have told them that Sargsyan is the only candidate able to fulfill his campaign promises.
