I am very much aware of the Armenian emotional outbursts that end up BLOODY....
As you stated, clash of clans or should we say, clash of Amiras as in the ottoman era?????

Well, I'm not sure we're quite at the point of considering civil war, and what those holding street protests in this part of the world usually hope for is that the security apparatus doesn't respond to orders to disperse or confront an angry mob. However, there is the potential for violent clashes between the two, but in particular the various clans supporting one side or the other. Hopefully this won't be the case, but the risk is there because emotions risk running out of control.

Plus, if before last weekend I would have said that Ter-Petrossian couldn't gather enough supporters on the streets, his last pre-election campaign showed that he can now. Moreover, it was pretty obvious that these guys have a stronger spirit than the opposition did in 2003. Actually, in my opinion, you can't compare the two or the leadership. No disrespect to Demirchian, but he was not a leader who can motivate a crowd to confront anyone who stands in its way. Ter-Petrossian, however, is.

..... be decided in the streets.....

Does Armenia need a civil war. Are we that degenerated to start one?
I have witnessed one in 1958 Lebanon. There were no winners.
With a new strife in Hayasdan our neighbours do not need to do anything to repossess all the lands freed in Artsakh!..maybe even threaten the existing lands as well?
