Vazgen Manukian: Election Prediction
Mediamax reports that opposition candidate Vazgen Manukian believes that none of his rivals can count on attracting more than 20 percent of the vote in the first round of the 19 February presidential election in Armenia. Instead, it is likely that a second round will be held.
According to him, it is obvious that neither the candidate from the ruling party, nor anybody from the representatives of the opposition, is able to gain victory in the first round of the elections on February 19.
Leader of NDU stated that in these conditions, a central factor will become the following – which candidate among the representatives of the opposition will be able to better unite around himself the oppositional electorate in the second round. At that Vazgen Manukian refused to make any supposition as to who has real chances to enter the second round.
