As informed by the prosecutor’s office, on February 10, at 11:40 Varazdat Petrossian applied to Malatia police, notifying that, in the period between February 9, 21:10 to February 10, 09:30, the glasses of the Republican party headquarters in Haghtanak village (belonging to him based on the property rights) had been broken and a bottle with fuel had been thrown inside, as a result of which the club chair and a cardboard box had been burnt down. The prosecutor’s office has also disseminated a statement on “the leaflets with swear-words” addressed to Serzh Sargsyan, posted on the walls in Martuni. “On February 11, 2008, at around 10:00, a stranger rudely violated the public order and expressed an apparent disrespectful attitude towards the society, posting leaflets, containing swear-words addressed to presidential candidate Serzh Sargsyan and a number of Martuni-based officials, on the walls in Martuni,” the statement says. On February 11, at around 11:00, a stranger has burnt the door of presidential candidate, Prime Minister Serzh Sargsyan’s headquarters at Azatutyan 12 in Yerevan.
