Newspaper Deplores Pre-Election Campaign

One of the most evident aspects of this year’s presidential election in Armenia is that the quality of debate between the main candidates has reached lower levels than before. RFE/RL’s Press Review quotes one Armenian newspaper which deplores and laments such a reality.

“Azg” continues to express disappointment with the course of Armenia’s presidential election campaign, criticizing the behavior of both the government and opposition camps. The paper deplores what it calls a low quality of debate among various candidates and their loyalists.
