Heritage: Statement
Azg carries the warning from the opposition Heritage party that none of the candidates running against the prime minister, Serge Sargsyan, can win next month’s presidential election in Armenia unless they unite.
The paper says that the party founded and headed by U.S.-born Raffi Hovannisian urges Vazgen Manukian, Artur Baghdasaryan, Vahan Hovhannissian and Levon Ter-Petrossian to review their respective strategies.
Until then, the party will not support any of the opposition candidates in the vote scheduled for 19 February 2008.
