Heritage Still Undecided
Public Radio reports that the Heritage party of former foreign minister U.S.-born Raffi Hovannisian has still not decided who to support in next month’s presidential election. Unconfirmed rumors indicate that Hovannisian might be waiting to determine whether the ARF-D’s Vahan Hovannisian (no relation) stays the course until 9 February when candidates cannot pull out of the race. However, the official reason given by Heritage is that none of the candidates are able to consolidate their efforts against the prime minister, Serge Sargsyan.
