Artur Baghdasarian: Full EU Membership
Public Radio reports that Orinats Yerkir’s candidate, Artur Baghdasarian, is fully committed to striving for full membership of the European Union in the event of his winning the 19 February presidential election in Armenia. Baghdasarian is also committed to developing closer cooperation with NATO as well as improving relations with Iran, Georgia and Turkey.
He also noted that the present foreign policy course of Armenia does not meet the challenges of the time and it has lead to the isolation of the country from a number of regional processes.
