Election Allegations
A1 Plus reports that opposition Orinats Yerkir Deputy Chairwoman Hermine Bisharian alleges various illegalities concerning preparations for next month’s presidential election in Armenia.
We came across terrible things in marzes. Village heads call school principals, teachers and ordinary residents and force them to vote for this or that candidate. Some village heads say “your votes will be decisive for me as I must secure 90-percent votes for the Government’s candidate otherwise I shall lose the post.”
