I would have loved to have a new face as a potential presidential candidate but I realize that LTP is the only politician currently on the scene that will be able to put up credible resistance to Serzh Sargsyan and his administrative powers.

Armenia Now also carries the same story.

The head of the board of All-Armenian Movement Ararat Zurabyan declared at a press conference at the Hayatsk press club today that the decision of putting forward the party leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s candidature for presidency is irreversible:

“That’s, of course, my inner conviction, but everything is leading to that,” Zurabyan added.

[...]

According to Zurabyan, a serious oppositional pole will be formed with Ter-Petrosyan’s leadership and serious political elections will be held. He avoided mentioning any names or parties that may side with that pole, “because everything is still in process.”
